About the Artist
Laura Saß (b. 2003) is a contemporary artist based in London. Raised in Greifswald, Germany, she moved to Frankfurt am Main at the age of eighteen to study at Frankfurt School, where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in 2025. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Financial Analysis at London Business School.
Laura’s artistic journey began early. At fifteen, she sold her first painting to an international collector, marking the beginning of a career that has since brought her work to collectors and galleries in the United States, Switzerland, France, Sweden and beyond.
In 2021, one of her paintings was auctioned for €4,444 as part of the charity initiative Hand in Hand für Norddeutschland, with all proceeds supporting children in need across Northern Germany.
Her early work focused largely on portraiture, gaining recognition from several well-known public figures, including Leni Klum, Cara Delevingne, Luciano and Madison Beer, who shared and commented on her paintings across their social media platforms.
In 2025, Laura was selected to exhibit at the London Art Biennale. Following the exhibition, the featured painting was accepted into Gagliardi Gallery in London.
Alongside her artistic practice, Laura has worked internationally as a model since the age of nineteen, collaborating with agencies across Europe and Australia. She has spent several months working in Milan, Sydney and Germany, balancing her modelling career with her academic studies and artistic practice.
